A GGC e-mail address is required in order to register for this event. Our workshops are developed specifically for GGC faculty and staff only. All other registrations will be declined.

Do you need a quiet, distraction-free space in which to work on your writing project for a set period of time? Would you like an atmosphere of mutual support and encouragement as you write your scholarship? The CTE conference room will be open for you and your colleagues to use as a writing space. "Writing Spaces" is offered twice each month from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. You are not obligated to stay for the entire three-hour period. Come and work as you are able.

In these writing times, you will be able to:

(1) Create space and time in your schedule to make significant progress on your writing goals,

(2) Develop goal-setting skills,

(3) Increase awareness of your own writing process,

(4) Work on your own, or bring some colleagues and work together as a group,

(5) Share writing resources with others,

(6) Determine sustainable writing habits,

(7) Offer both camaraderie and accountability to others.

We’re all in this together, and it’s nice to know there are others in the trenches with us, especially when the going gets tough.
