This intensive, one-day workshop is ideal for new writers as well as more experienced ones. Topics include the fundamentals of the personal essay, the art of revising and how to read like a writer. Using prompts, participants will produce a piece of writing and receive constructive feedback. They'll also learn how to establish a writing routine that will serve them for years to come. Eric Weiner is author of the New York Times bestsellers The Geography of Bliss and The Geography of Genius, as well as the critically acclaimed Man Seeks God, The Socrates Express and, his latest book, Ben & Me. His books have been translated into more than 20 languages. He regularly leads writing workshops in the US and overseas. A former international correspondent for NPR, Eric’s work has also appeared in The Atlantic, National Geographic, and elsewhere.
