This dynamic class dives deep into the hottest market trends, age-smart storytelling techniques, and unforgettable character creation that speaks directly to kids and teens. You will also get insider tips on crafting submissions that grab the attention of kid-lit magazines and publishers. Whether you are dreaming of picture books or YA novels, this is your launch pad to creating stories that kids will not put down. The instructor LeeAnne Krusemark is a former journalist, current author and editor, and a nationwide Professor of Publishing at higher learning institutions, including Harvard Adult Education. Informative handouts for future use are included in class fee. You will receive the webinar login information the day before class from leeanne@krusemarkgrinnell.com. Pre-registration is required.

Refund Policy: “Requests for a refund on a fee-based class not cancelled by the college must be made at least five (5) working days prior to the beginning of the class. A $5 per person processing fee will be retained on all refunds unless the class is cancelled or meeting times are changed by the college.”
