Chee Vang writes fiction, creative nonfiction and children’s stories about Hmong language, relationships, spirituality, and culture. Chee is a recipient of The Loft Mentor Series for Fiction (2019), Mirrors and Windows Children’s Writing Fellowship (2024) and the Minnesota State Arts Board Creative Individuals Grant (2025). Her published writing can be found in Ramsey County Library’s anthology, This Was 2020 and Hmong Museum’s Digital Zine.
Chee Vang is a fiscal year 2025 recipient of a Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
