Part 2: Teaching, Research, and Diversity Statements (June 21)

This two-part, interactive workshop will enable you to create strong academic job application portfolio by focusing on the structures and arguments embedded in CVs, cover letters, and teaching, research and diversity statements. The first session will address the principles of writing successful CVs and cover letters; the second will address teaching, research, and diversity statements. We will apply these writing principles through constructive peer review of a few selected samples of each document.

If you would like to have your CV/cover letter or teaching/research/diversity statements considered for review in the workshop, please email the document(s) to Mollie-Anne Maxfield (mmaxfiel@hsph.harvard.edu) by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 12. Please note that authors need to attend the session and may be asked questions about context or for clarification, and that this is a great opportunity to receive personalized, constructive feedback on your job-search documents.
