Is there a featured speaker?

Yes. Every month a local writer reads from their book. There is also a question and answer period. After this we have the open mic portion of our evening. This month the featured award- winning  author  is Francine Falk-Allen.

How can I sign-up to read my prose?

Sign-ups start at 5:30 p.m. First come-first served. Remember 5 minutes  is about 750 words, so please practice your story for time. You can always come back next month to read again.

Is there an age restriction?

Yes. MAC's at 19 Broadway is a bar, so no minors. Sorry.

Does MAC's serve drinks and food?

MAC's has a delicious array of cocktails, mocktails, beers and wine. If you are hungry, Ghiringhelli's Pizzeria will deliver directly to you at MAC's.

Though we like poetry, this event is for prose writers. But please come join us and perhaps bring a story.
