Do I have to be on camera?

Nope. This is not a requirement. It's completely up to you.

Do I have to share my writings/work?

Only if you want to. We'd love to hear it tho! No pressure, either way.

What if I need to leave early/ come late?

We're flexible. Now if you leave early, you might miss out on some valuable info. And, if you come late, well...yeah, you'll probably miss out on some meaningful connection points but we want you there for however long works for you.

What if I'm NOT a person of color?

Our session are open to all creatives. Much of our focus and intention is on serving African- Americans, people of color, etc. so our dialogue, writing exercises, prompts, and discussions are often centered around that theme. If you're ok with that, you are welcome to join in our public sessions.

Why is there a fee? I can write on my own.

This session isn't just about writing. It's about accountability and creating a practice of self investment. In sessions we offer feedback, motivation, support, practical tips, and community. Not to mention, our playlists are top-tier. Plus, this helps us reach other writers in need of support.
