World AIDS Day 2025
Overview
This annual event serves as a reminder of the global struggle to end HIV-related stigma, an opportunity to honor those we have lost, and a rallying cry to continue working toward a day when HIV is no longer a public health threat.
This event will include:
- Live music
- A free meal (while food lasts)
- Kaiser flu clinic
- HIV serving organizations tabling their resources
- Keynote speakers
- Video Art Presentation led by youth on the history of the AIDS epidemic
- A candlelight vigil to remember those we lost to AIDS
Join the community for this once a year event as we remember those we have lost, honor those who have survived, and educate community on the impact the HIV epidemic has had on this community.
Doors Open at 6:30 pm
Program at 7:30 pm
Candlelight Vigil at 9:00 pm
Free parking available in Parking Structure II of Sacramento State after 6pm.
Presented by The Sacramento Prevention Coalition, The University Union of Sacramento State, SIN (Strength In Numbers) Sacramento, Gilead Sciences and ViiV Healthcare.
