WORKSHOP: Unfinished Business with Carol Gill

Feeling a bit stuck in your practice? Or maybe you have some works in progress that you're just not sure how to finish off? Bring along your sketchbook and connect with other creatives in a supportive environemnt, at our upcoming workshop 'Unfinished Business' for Hawkesbury Now 2025.

Local artist Carol Gill from Ferry Artists will discuss her playful approaches to collage and mixed media, and provide insight into how to push through a creative block and resolve unfinished work.

Morning tea is provided, please bring your own project and art-making supplies. Suitable for ages 15 years +.

About Hawkesbury Now:

Showcasing the diversity of creative people in our beautiful region the Hawkesbury Now brings together groups and individuals practicing in mediums such as painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, ceramics, glass and woodwork. Providing an opportunity for local artists to sell their work, and for residents and visitors to the area to buy original art from the region’s best-known and accomplished artists.

Terms and conditions:

• SMILE! Gallery events may be photographed, and images used for promotional purposes on Council's websites, publications, social media or by newspapers.
• If you do not wish your image (or the image of your child) to be published, please notify staff before the event.
• If you are unable to attend, please cancel your tickets as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate in the program.
• Do not attend the event if you are feeling unwell.
• Paid tickets are not transferable.

Cancellation/refund polices paid tickets:

• To receive a full refund (minus an admin fee of session cost), please cancel your ticket or notify the gallery before 48 hours of the scheduled event. If less notice is given, a refund will not be issued.
• Refunds will not be given if participants change their mind, or simply forget to attend the event. For exceptional circumstances, refunds may be issued at the discretion of the Gallery Director.
• A refund can take up to 7 working days to process after the event date (due to bank transfer times). Cash payment refunds can take up to 6 weeks to process.
