Blank Space is excited to be working again with Grafill, this time to introduce Oslo’s creatives to the wonderful world of silkscreen printing!

After registering for the event you will receive an invoice from Grafill.

This class is meant as an intro to the complicated process of silkscreen, and will give you a taste of what its like to create an image and print it – start to finish! We will be working with pre-made images and walk you through the entire process: The different kinds of screens and inks, how to create separations, how to coat a screen properly, how to burn an image, and – PRINTING! We will walk you through the types of problems that can occur while printing and how to solve them, as well as give you some tips for when you are working with your own images.

We will be printing with water based ink on paper, but will begin discussions on how to transfer this knowledge to printing on textiles – for example, on t-shirts.
