Sign up for a workshop orientation class to learn the basic safety of the tools that we have in our workshop and in order to use the workshop during our shop hours. Email us at shopstewards@seattlereconomy.org if you have any questions on workshop usage. The Orientation will take place at the NE Seattle Tool Library, please come to the East entrance of the library at the time of the class.
The space is equipped with a large SawStop table saw, 12" compound sliding miter saw, 2 band saws (one for resaw), drill press, router table, jointer, planer, spindle sander, scroll saw, and various hand tools.

Our sliding scale for classes helps to reduce barriers for participation while retaining sufficient income for Seattle REconomy, which owns and operates the NE Seattle and Shoreline tool libraries. Please choose the level that best fits your family’s income.
ACCESSIBILITY:
- Much of the NE Seattle Tool Library interior is wheelchair accessible. All entrances have ramps that may exceed a 5 degree slope. The all-gender restroom is quite small and not ADA compliant.
- Non-English and ASL interpreters are not provided at our classes and events, however attendees are welcome to bring their own interpreters.

GETTING THERE:
- By transit: Served by King County Metro bus route 372 stopping along Lake City Way NE at NE 98th St. Route 61 stops at NE Northgate Way & 23rd Ave NE and is a ½ mile walk from the tool library.
- By bike: There are multiple bicycle route options available to the tool library, and you are welcome to stow your bicycle inside the tool library during your visit.
- Car parking: There is a gravel parking lot that fits about 10 cars, and an asphalt parking lot that fits 5 cars. There is no ADA accessible parking.
