Description

The Seattle Office of Arts and Culture provides funding support for artists and art organizations within the Seattle commuity to expand access to arts and culture for residents and visitors throughout our city. Join us for a workshop centered around our Neighborhood & Community Arts (NCA) and ARTS IN PARKS grant program. We’ll be discussing both programs at each workshop; Attendance is free, but RSVP requested.


NEIGHBORHOOD & COMMUNITY ARTS

Seattle offers an extraordinary array of ars and cultural events throughout its diverse neighborhoods. The Office of Arts & Culture’s Neighborhood & Community Arts (NCA) Program supports creativity at a grassroots level, making investments in dozens of festivals and community cultural projects. This program provides $1,200 each year for events happening in 2018 and 2019.

ARTS IN PARKS

The Office of Arts & Culture is partnering with Seattle Parks and Recreation to increase arts and community events in parks throughout the city. The Arts in Parks Program is an opportunity for the city to invest in the vibrant cultural work being done in and by diverse communities throughout Seattle. This program provides up to $7,200 in funding for eligible events in 2018 taking place is eligible City of Seattle managed parks.
