About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

This workshop is for students who are looking to change up their playing style and experiment with new improv forms.

Peter has been a part of three shows that all deviated from typical improv show formats: JTS Brown, 4 Square and 2 Square.

In this workshop, we will learn about some of the techniques used in alternative improv forms and experiment with new ones we come up with on our own in class.

It’s the perfect chance to stretch your understanding of what an improv show can be.

About the Instructor: Peter Grosz is an American actor and two-time Emmy Award-winning writer. TV Writing Credits include: The Colbert Report, Late Night With Seth Meyers, The President Show. Grosz can also be seen on-screen in HBO’s VEEP. In April 2023, Grosz made his Broadway debut playing Robert Sarnoff, President of NBC, in the Tony Award-winning play Good Night, Oscar. Peter appeared in Sonic Drive-In's "Two Guys" commercials with T. J. Jagodowski, and is a member of improv duo 2 Square with John Lutz (30 Rock).
