Feb 1, Room 337 --- "The Magic of Peacefulness and Endurance in Busy Life"

Overview: Do you always feel occupied by study, internship, work and relationships? Do you spend extra energy struggling with them? Are you always overridden by these issues rather than actively facing up? The most energy-saving method is just accepting rather than rejecting or avoiding them. What is the better way to internalize these stresses without conflicting your own values? Here is a workshop that combines the views from Buddhism and Positive Psychology to give you some knowledge to deal with stresses and provide a real-time meditation practically.

Feb 2, Room 340 --- "The Master of Happiness is Your Mind"

Overview: Why some people are happier than you even though you are wealthier and prettier? Or ironically, you always believe that wealthier and prettier people are happier? It turns out the physical world does not determine happiness level but the perception about the world does so. Neuroscience interprets human perception as very selective and limited because it is shaped and mediated by the network of different but finite neurons. Have you ever thought about what governs the function of the brain network? Is there anything superior to the brain? Can we raise our perception level by inspecting that superior master? That bewildering and looming master is our mind. It is subtle but profound. In this workshop you will have the opportunity to have a closer look at your mind with a lesson about mind-only school and complimentary meditation practice.
