You deserve to feel appreciated! The key to enjoying your work is whether you feel valued and appreciated by those around you.
Not everyone feels appreciation in the same way. Learning about the languages of appreciation can help you communicate authentic appreciation to your team as well as help you let others know what is meaningful for you. Learning this about yourself and others can help you to feel fulfilled and understood throughout your career!
Our workshop facilitator, Shelley Rezai, is an Appreciation at Work Certified Facilitator and will guide us through this important discussion.

About Shelley Rezai
Shelley Rezai has worked in the nonprofit, mental health, and education management industry for over 10 years. During that time she has worked in direct service and leadership roles giving her the understanding of value of each role and appreciation for what makes a team effective, happy and healthy! She currently works as a Nonprofit Consultant and is an Appreciation at Work Certified Facilitator.

The mission of San Diego Emerging Museum Professionals (EMP) is to facilitate career growth through networking and professional development opportunities. San Diego EMP welcomes members from all fields and is primarily composed of employees, volunteers, and students in their first ten years of a museum-related career.
