Working Session: Digital Work Samples
Overview
The Playwrights' Center is partnering with Springboard for the Arts to provide this working session to help theater artists create successful digital work samples. The session will include information about editing video, audio, and images, how to select and arrange clips, and information about the McKnight Theater Artist Fellowship.
The session will be lead by Springboard's Artist Career Consultant Naomi Ko and 2025-26 McKnight Theater Artist Fellow Isabel Nelson.
The session will be held online via Zoom on Monday, February 2 from 6:00-7:30pm CST

Naomi Ko (she/her) is an award-winning Korean American filmmaker, writer, actor, comedian, cultural producer, and grant writer. She is an experienced grant and fellowship writer, has won over 50 grants and fellowships, and sat on local and national panels. Naomi is a Sundance Episodic Fellow and Bush Leadership Fellow, and a former McKnight Media Arts fellow and Jerome Hill Artist Fellow in Film. Visit her website at www.konaomi.com
Isabel Nelson (she/they) is a director, performer, and theater creator in the Twin Cities. Isabel served as founding artistic director of critically-acclaimed physical theater ensemble Transatlantic Love Affair (TLA) from 2010-2022, and has directed or collaborated on ten original works with the company. Most recently, Isabel has brought their creative practice to bear in collaboration with folx incarcerated at Stillwater Correctional Facility and Shakopee Correctional Facility. Isabel believes in storytelling as a vessel for healing, and theater as sacred action – an opportunity to imagine, embody, and create the just and generative world we deserve.
