About Sweden Talent Visa Program

What is it?

As part of the new law, the Swedish government has introduced a new talent visa program for professionals who want to work in Sweden. This is a 9-month jobseeker visa to look for work in Sweden.

Visa types:

1) Jobseeker Visa

This is a 9-month instant visa, that allows you to move to Sweden without a job offer. You can use the time to be in Sweden and apply for jobs and meet with employers in person.

2) Work Visa

This is a 1+ year visa, that allows you to move to Sweden for a job. You can apply for this visa once you have a job offer.

Visa processing time

A standard work permit is processed within 10 days if the application is submitted by a company that is certified with the Migration Agency.

For a Work Visa a job offer is required.

Application process:

Step 1: Get a recommendation from an agency

Step 2: Apply for jobs with a recommendation

Step 3: Sign the job contract

Step 4: Apply for a work visa at your embassy

Meeting format:

The meeting is 1 hour online over Google Meet.

All meetings are private and held 1 on 1 over video call with a recruiter in our Stockholm office.

  7. Calculate your salary and benefits estimate
  8. Get to know your estimated salary before you do attend an interview
  9. Get job databases to search specific to your industry
  10. Get your CV recommended to companies

Salaries ranges in Sweden:

Junior Roles (Eur 3000 - Eur 4500 /month)

Mid-level (Eur 4500 - Eur 7500 /month)

Senior (Eur 7500 - Eur 12000 / month)
