Do I need to know how to code?

The great thing about WordPress is that you do not need to know how to code in order to customize a theme. Having basic HTML and CSS knowledge will be helpful as we’ll be teaching you a few customization tricks, but not necessary. If you consider yourself a tech-savvy person, you’ll do great.

What technical requirements do I need for the workshop?

A reliable computer, camera, microphone, and internet connection are required for this course. Classes will be taught via Zoom, so make sure to have the latest Zoom app installed before class starts. We ask that you have a good working knowledge of Google drive, Zoom, and messaging apps.

Our online, self-led WordPress course is the foundation of our workshop. This one-day workshop + course is the best way to get started as you will be given the tools you need  to start building your website and taught the fundamentals and more advanced features of the GeneratePress theme.

What is GeneratePress?
