!!! THIS EVENT IS DESIGNED FOR WELL-TRAINED DOGS ONLY !!!
PLEASE, GET FAMILIAR WITH BEHAVIOR & SAFETY GUIDELINES BELOW. IF YOUR DOG'S BEHAVIOUR IS DISRUPTING THE CLASS (e.g. NON-STOP BARKING DURING THE INSTRUCTIONS/INTRO OR INABILITY TO STAY IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO YOU WHILE YOU ARE SCULPTING), YOU WILL BE ASKED TO STEP AWAY OR LEAVE WITHOUT A REFUND

I pride myself in letting people work on their individual ideas, so we will not be making the same thing simultaneously. I start by explaining the techniques, and then help everyone as they work on their unique stuff.
Working with clay is an enormous creativity booster and bliss for your mental health.
We will start the workshop with a micro networking session to get to know each other. Then learn some fun facts about ceramics and get familiar with the clay. After deciding on the piece you want to create and picking the technique, you can get in the zone and deep focus on the craft or continue chatting and exchanging tips and ideas.
We will finish the workshop by selecting glazes for your creations and exchanging social media in case we feel like staying connected.
In about 4 weeks after the class you will get a ready-to-use ceramic piece.
I will fire them for you in a professional pottery studio, glaze it, fire it again, and prepare for a pick up. If you don't live in Los Angeles, shipping can be arranged for an additional fee.
See you soon!
Ana.

While we’re thrilled to welcome your pets, please ensure that your dog is comfortable in group settings, well-socialized, and under control at all times. Dogs must remain on a leash during the whole class, and owners are expected to closely monitor their behavior. Any dog exhibiting aggressive or disruptive behavior may be asked to leave to maintain a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone.

(There's plenty of outdoor space to run around if you'll need to take a break and step away from the table)
**Waiver of Liability**
By participating in this event, you agree to take full responsibility for your pet’s actions and any incidents that may arise. The workshop organizers are not liable for any accidents or injuries that may occur.

PROCESSING DISCLAIMER:
While the processing of your piece (trimming, firing, glazing) is complimentary and does not require an additional fee, when purchasing a ticket, you are paying for CLASS ATTENDANCE, not a finished product. For most attendees, the outcome of the class is a finished ceramic piece (provided the processing goes smoothly), but the organizer is not responsible for any damage that may occur during drying or kiln firing. We always do our best, but pottery is a very volatile craft. Please keep that in mind.
While we take every precaution to ensure that your creations are handled with care throughout the process, it’s important to understand that imperfections and occasional breakages can occur, particularly during the firing process.
By participating in this workshop, you acknowledge that our studio is not liable for any damages or breakage that may happen to your work during or after firings. Refunds cannot be provided for such occurrences, but you will have an option to remake a new piece for free or pick up a small consolation gift. Thank you for your understanding and for embracing the beautiful unpredictability of handmade ceramics.
Your pieces are usually ready within 4-6 weeks after the class, but the process may take longer depending on the studio's firing schedule or complications during the drying/firing/glazing (especially if extra services or classes were requested). Although it's not common, in certain cases processing can take up to a few months.
Once your works are ready for pickup, you will be notified via text and/or email.
**SMS Opt-In Disclaimer**
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to receive SMS messages from the organizer about class schedules, updates, and promotions.
