Woodworking 101: Make and Engrave a Custom Cutting Board

Just in time for the holidays! Craft your own long grain cutting board and turn it into a reality over two afternoons at i3Detroit, the metro area's largest makerspace. You'll get to design your own board using a mix of domestic and imported hardwoods and make it in our woodshop under supervision. When cared for properly, these boards last a long time. They also make for great gifts to loved ones. If you like, we'll also engrave it with your choice of name and graphics , see the last pictures for examples. Note: Class will only be held if there are 3 or more registrants, else it'll be rescheduled.
