Winter is the best time to look for woodpeckers and Washington Crossing State Park is full of these three-toed environmental engineers!
Winter is the best time to look for woodpeckers and Washington Crossing State Park is full of these three-toed environmental engineers! This program will focus on the various species of woodpecker in the park including Hairy, Red-bellied, and Pileated Woodpeckers. This program will walk about two miles in search of woodpeckers and their allies. Please meet at the Nature Center by 10 AM. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes for walking. No registration is required. All ages welcome.
