Women’s improv playground- playing with the here and now

Overview

Get ready to unleash your creativity and wit in a fun women's improv session where the focus is on living in the moment!

*Women’s Improv Playground: Playing with the here and now*

This one day workshop is a safe space for women to explore and expand their improv skills and experiences in a fun, supportive environment.

In improv as in life, female performers can often make choices or take actions based on who or where we think we ‘should’ be rather than focusing on who or where we are. This workshop will allow women improvisers to discover and delve deeper into characters and scenes, by being grounded in the present.

Using a variety of explorative exercises and mindfulness techniques performers will have a chance to play and expand their improv toolkit and confidence while also having a laugh!

Quotes from previous workshops:

"Everyone was so supportive and encouraging. You could just be yourself snd Jen made it such a safe space to do so"

"Many good and therapeutic moments."

"Considerate yet whimsical. What a vibe"

"Jen and Marie led us through so many wonderful and engaging exercises, they were ALL my favourite. And being with a group of inclusive, supportive women was truly energising - I can’t wait for the next one!"

"Improvisers of all levels can learn from this course. Could not have been better facilitated. The open supportive environment went beyond my expectations. Attend and experience it for yourself!"
