Women’s Circle in SE Portland ~ Nature-Based Community & Reflection

By Sara Brells

Overview

An in-person gathering for women seeking spaciousness to connect with self, nature, and soulful community

Welcome to a grounding, gentle in-person Women’s Circle in Portland, OR — a space for community connection, self-reflection, and soulful intention-setting.

This monthly gathering is designed for women who are craving deeper connection with yourself, one another, and the more-than-human world. Whether you're navigating a big life transition, seeking clarity, or simply yearning for soulful community, I offer this circle as an invitation to slow down amidst the chaos and tend to your whole self and community. I hope for this to be a space to let down your guard and be your full, messy, beautiful human self!

During the drier months we gather out in nature, and during the cold, wet months we'll gather indoors - either way, nature is everywhere - including in us, so nature connection is at the core of our gathering.

What to Expect:

  • Grounding nature-based practices
  • Guided reflection prompts and spaciousness to connect with your inner wisdom, your body, and/or nature before each round of sharing in circle
  • A few rounds of sharing in circle what's on your heart or arose during reflection. This is a space to let yourself be seen and supported, and reciprocally witness whatever is present: joy, grief, confusion - it is all welcome!
  • Witchy, magickal vibes (think, tarot cards on the altar & guided visualizations)

Who this is for: Anyone who self-identifies as a woman and/or was socialized as a woman, and is craving deeper connection with nature, with themselves, and with community. You might particularly love this intimate circle if you are:

  • Craving authentic, grounded community
  • Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected
  • Wanting to slow down and live with more intention
  • Curiously exploring spirituality in a progressive way
  • Drawn to nature-based or earth-centered practices
  • Interested in inner healing, parts work, or deep self-awareness

What to bring: A journal, water, and something that helps you feel comfortable seated on the floor (we'll be on the floor). You’re welcome to bring a small object for the center altar if inspired.

Exchange: This circle is offered on an equity-based sliding scale. I know it is sometimes difficult to choose your spot on a scale, so I'll share this: $30 is the suggested contribution to help me sustain this offering, and cover the venue space. I've shared some descriptors/examples below, to help you reflect on what feels in integrity with your current situation. No judgement, and NOTAFLOF.

  • Core Contribution: $30 — people who are able to meet their essential financial needs such as housing, food, etc. are encouraged to contribute the core rate that helps sustain this offering
  • Supported Contribution: $10 —people who are feeling like money is real tight right now are encouraged to accept support from others by contributing at the supported rate
  • Ally Contribution: $40+ — people experiencing financial abundance are encouraged to contribute extra dollars as a supporter for others experiencing financial hardship
  • NOTAFLF — just reach out to me at hello@sarabrells.com to RSVP.

Important Community Agreements: We're here for sacred witnessing, not fixing. We show up with curiosity and compassion. We hold what is shared in circle in confidentiality.

Space is limited to honor intimacy and connection.
