Let me tell you though when I speak of writing, I am not thinking of you as a writer. I am not telling you to engage exclusively in expressive writing. My philosophy is writing as a transformative process is the very essence of becoming, the idea of individuation - a true homecoming into joy, meaning and connection. Writing as a spiritual discipline helps you stay centered and increases your sense of well-being.

I'm a writing teacher, not a counselor. I taught as an English professor at the university level. I've practiced meditation for over forty-five years and studied the science of happiness and metaphysics. This includes conducting interdisciplinary research into the work of Carl Jung. I have a background in literature and an avid interest in depth psychology and mythology.
