The Bog & Stiperstones Circular | 8km Walk | Women Only!
Join us for a fascinating walk around The Bog & The Stiperstones, where we’ll explore hidden history and local wildlife!

🗓️ Date: Friday 19th September🕒 Time: 10am - 1pm (Please arrive 10 minutes early) The walk will start promptly at 10am, so please be on time!

Parking: Free parking, but please be careful entering the car park as there are several LARGE potholes!!
🥾 What to Expect
- Duration: Approximately 4 hours / 5 miles/8Km
- Terrain: Some uneven terrain (rocky underfoot), woodland & field terrain – please wear suitable footwear - ascent of 198m
- Pace: Suitable for all levels - we go at a pace that works for the whole group!
- Level: Moderate - some uneven ground, a couple of stiles, but we walk at a pace that suits the whole group!

💼 What to Bring
- Comfortable walking boots/shoes
- Backpack for all your belongings
- Water - I would recommend at least 1L of water
- Weather-appropriate clothing (raincoat/sunhat)
- Any personal medication
- Walking poles, if you use them
- Some lunch or snacks for a trig point break (with some epic views...weather permitting!)
Spaces are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment!
ℹ️ Additional Information
- There are NO Toilets at the start/finish location, but there are plenty of places for a "Wild Wee" which will be pointed out along the way should you need them!
- Walks go ahead rain or shine unless extreme weather makes it unsafe (you will be notified in advance).
- 18 years +
- Well behaved, and stranger-safe dogs are welcome on leads, please bring poo bags!

Hi! I'm Chrissy and I'll be leading this walk! I'm a fully insured and qualified Hill & Moorland Leader and hold a Level 3 Outdoor First Aid certificate, and I’m dedicated to creating an inclusive and fun space for you to explore the outdoors and learn new skills. Whether it's group walks, navigation courses or 1-2-1 confidence building sessions, I love opening the outdoors to people and making a difference!
