MEET OUR GUEST SPEAKER: Meighan Cole-Bailey: From Foster Care to CEO

Meighan Cole-Bailey’s story is living proof that broken beginnings can lead to beautiful destinies. Once a foster child carrying her belongings in trash bags, she rose to become a CEO, serial entrepreneur, and empowerment coach—turning her pain into purpose and her journey into hope for others.

Known as the “Foster Care System Hope Dealer,” Meighan uses her voice to inspire foster youth, women, and families to reclaim their power and rise above the labels placed on them. After being fired from Corporate America to care for her ailing grandmother, she founded a transportation company that now serves seniors, students, and individuals with disabilities across multiple counties. With her husband, she also co-founded a group home to provide safe spaces for vulnerable populations.

A Small Business Advisor with Waubonsee Community College’s SBDC, Meighan is the founder of Mothers Who Care Foundation NFP and Trucking in High Heels NFP, both dedicated to helping women and families heal and thrive. She co-authored Journey to Womanhood and Diamonds & Pearls: Affirmations of a Mompreneur Who Rocks, and co-owns Mamaw’s Kitchen Food Truck, a tribute to her late mother and sister.

Once a high school dropout, Meighan fought her way back—earning her diploma, degree, and a powerful testimony of faith and perseverance. For her, being CEO is not about business titles—it’s about becoming the Chief Executive of your own life.

Meighan Cole-Bailey is resilience in motion and faith in action—a living reminder that what God has for you is truly for you.
