A Concert Experience Celebrating Black Queer Identity

Join us at The Lynn Riggs Black Box Theatre for an evening of powerful music and spoken word that explores what it means to be Black and queer in today's world. Through gospel, classical, and contemporary music, poetry, and heartfelt storytelling, "Witness" creates a space to celebrate joy, process pain, and find community.

This intimate concert features pianist Am're Ford, poet Arsimmer McCoy, and vocalists Jamar Rogers and Kunya Rowley. Together, they'll share stories and songs about love, identity, spirituality, and belonging—weaving together all the threads that make us who we are.

What to Expect:

  • Live vocal and piano performances spanning multiple genres
  • Original spoken word poetry
  • An inclusive, welcoming environment
  • Thoughtful exploration of identity
  • Community and connection

"Witness" is part concert, part storytelling session. Whether you're looking for beautiful music, meaningful conversation, or simply a space to feel seen and heard, this performance offers something special.

Presented by Hued Songs as part of the Tulsa Fringe Festival - Hued Songs is an organization dedicated to amplifying Black creativity and building community through the arts.
