WIP Lab Workshop: Neon-Inspired Wire Bending

Join PhD student Skye Xollo to learn how to create sculptures that mimic the look of glowing neon. In this all-levels workshop, you’ll learn to sketch a design, shape armature wire using techniques inspired by real neon glass bending, and wrap your sculpture with glowing EL wire. No experience necessary - just bring your creativity and curiosity! Participants will leave with their own glowing sculpture and resources about how to continue exploring neon and glass art at UW-Madison.
