This growing season, we will offer a monthly series of workshops at our South Chicago Farm to support the development of local aspiring growers. A ticket for the workshop is $100; we. are offering a reduced cost ticket of $25 in exchange for 3 workshare hours at our South Chicago farm. Workshare hours need to be completed a week in advance of the workshop date in order for the reduced cost to be honored. If they are not completed, the ticket holder will be charged the additional $75 upon arrival to the workshop. Each workshop includes:

Succession Planting: It’s not too late to maximize your planting season! In this workshop we’ll introduce you to succession planting and the additional crops you can still squeeze into the growing season for late fall production. We’ll cover crop varieties, seeding techniques, watering, maintenance and when to expect your next harvest.
