Winterize Your Blues- 4-week Mondays online wellness series
As the days grow darker and the air turns cold, it’s not uncommon to notice a shift in your mood. This 4-week wellness series invites participants to make friends with the season, encouraging a transition from resisting winter’s stillness to embracing its wisdom. Each session begins with a warm welcome and a check-in, including a grounding breath and a short poem or quote. The teaching theme of the week lasts 15 minutes, focusing on topics such as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), resilience, and the cultural reframing of “the blues.” Following this, participants engage in a 15 to 20-minute practice that could involve movement, meditation, journaling, or sound practices, along with group reflection or sharing for 10 to 15 minutes. Integration occurs with a 5-minute weekly challenge, gratitude practice, or self-reflection. Finally, the session concludes with a 5-minute closing to bring everything together.
