Winter Village Music Camp 2026 will be a fun and inspiring winter weekend of listening, learning and playing the music you love in a friendly and welcoming setting. The camp is designed for musicians of all skill and experience levels, offering more than one hundred workshops on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, banjo, bass, ukulele, singing, and songwriting in a variety of styles including Bluegrass, Old Time, Irish, New England, Cajun, Scandinavian, Swing, Folk and Americana. Our faculty is comprised of touring professional performers along with many of Ithaca’s finest teacher-performers. Our visiting faculty for 2026 includes Viv & Riley, Allison DeGroot, Shane Cook, Jake Blount, Rakish, Rachel Eddy, Grant Gordy, Natalie Padilla, Bill Evans and Austin Scelzo. We are still rounding out the faculty with many of our excellent Ithaca and Finger Lakes musicians, so far including Judy Hyman, Rosie Newton, Kevin Wimmer, Jeff Claus, Joey Arcuri, Dave Davies, Tim Ball, Benny Bleu, Paul Fairbanks, Steve Stull, Bethany Parisi, Rick Manning and more.
Whether playing on the front porch or the performance stage, Winter Village offers musicians the tools to play better, practice more effectively, enhance performance skills to help you share your love for music with others.
In addition to workshops, the camp offers jamming at all experience levels and styles, and three great faculty concerts - an opening concert on Thursday evening (not included in weekend registration fee), a Saturday Night Camp All-Faculty Concert (included in your registration), and a closing concert on Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm (not included).
In 2026, Winter Village will return to it's downtown Ithaca locations at the Community School of Music & Arts, accommodations next door at the Canopy of Ithaca Hilton Hotel, and events nearly at the Bike Bar and other downtown venues.
