Join us for a special ceremonial sound journey on the Winter Solstice - the cosmic turning point when the longest night transforms into returning light.

This year's solstice carries extraordinary power: just 48 hours after the New Moon on December 19, we experience the Winter Solstice on December 21. This rare double new beginning creates potent energy for releasing what no longer serves and setting powerful intentions for the cycle ahead.

Ancient peoples gathered in ceremony, lit fires, and planted seeds (both literal and metaphorical) for the coming year.

The solstice isn't just astronomical - it's deeply personal. As the sun reaches its furthest point and begins its journey back, we too can pause, reflect, and consciously choose what we carry forward and what we leave behind.

This Special Solstice-Only Offering

Unlike our typical Monday night sound baths, this extended 90-minute ceremonial experience includes:

Intention Setting Ritual
Write your intentions for the returning light on beautiful cards. What do you want to birth in the coming cycle? What seeds are you planting? Place your intentions in our ceremonial space or take them home as reminders.

Release Ritual
Honor what you're ready to let go. What patterns, thoughts, or energies no longer serve you? Write them down and symbolically release them as the old solar cycle ends.

Candlelight Ceremony
Each participant receives a (flameless) candle. Together we'll acknowledge the darkness we've moved through and welcome the light returning - both in the cosmos and within ourselves.

Extended Sound Journey (75 minutes)
Immerse yourself in an intentionally structured sound bath that mirrors the solstice journey:

• The Dark Night: Deep, resonant bowl frequencies for introspection and honoring what has been
• The Turning Point: Transitional sounds marking the cosmic shift from darkness to light
• Return of Light: Uplifting, bright frequencies celebrating rebirth and new beginnings

The Setting

Find inner warmth on the year's darkest night in Gravity's main event space. Our warm, firelit sanctuary provides the perfect container for this sacred ceremony - cozy and nurturing as we gather community to honor this cosmic moment together.

6:00 PM - Doors open for ceremonial stations (intention setting and release rituals)
6:30 PM - Opening circle and candlelight ceremony
6:45 PM - Extended sound journey begins
8:00 PM - Integration and optional sharing
8:30 PM - Closing

Pay-as-you-can pricing: Suggested $10-20 for this extended ceremonial experience, no minimum required. We believe healing practices should be accessible to all. If you're unable to afford a donation, you are still encouraged to join us with no expectations or questions asked. All contributions support quality programming and fair facilitator compensation.
