The Winter Solstice Slowdown is a cozy, intentional gathering created to honor rest, joy, creativity, and communal care within Black and African diaspora communities. This offering is part of Keep Growing Dreams’ Black Joy series and is held in the welcoming, intimate space of ZENhōm in Northeast Portland.

ZENhōm is a Portland-based creative wellness studio offering intimate workshops and gatherings.

What to Expect

This is a guided, move together as a group experience. Please plan to arrive on time and stay till the end.

You’ll be held through:

A warm, grounding brunch + hot beverages- Meat & Vegitarian/Vegan options will be provided
Intention Ornament Crafting – create a symbolic piece to carry into the new year
Reiki + Sound Healing to soothe the nervous system and restore your energy with Desiree & Selena of Haus of Fruitz & Flowerz
Guided Journaling with Marcus Lattimore of ZEN:MNM to reflect, release, and set your winter intentions
