Winter Solstice Ecstatic Dance

Dress Code: Wear white or light colours so you shine in the black-light glow. Think tribal markings, moon goddess, horned god, antlers, masks, or Solstice head dresses.

Join us for a luminous Winter Solstice Ecstatic Dance with sacred group art-making, embodied ritual, and a deep dance journey to honour the darkest night of the year and the return of the light.

Beneath black lights and glowing colours, we gather to honour the ancient Celtic turning of the wheel, release the year behind us, and dance open the path for the light to rise again.

This event weaves ritual, art, adornment, movement, and community into a night that is both wild and deeply rooted.

6:00–7:00pm — Art Making, Face Painting & Photobooth

Arrive early for tribal-inspired glowing face paint designed by our facilitators.
Help create a collaborative art piece that will anchor the centre of the room throughout the night.

7:00pm — Doors Close for Solstice Ritual

We begin with a guided ritual to honour this ancient moment of stillness, a time to reflect, reset, and call the light back into our bones.

7:30–8:45pm — Ecstatic Dance Journey + Sound Closing

A full dance wave in the dark, lit by black lights and glowing bodies. Expect deep beats, wild movement, ecstatic peaks, and soft, luminous integration.

After the final track, our facilitation team offers a gentle sound bath closing for a moment to return, breathe, and integrate.

8:55–9:00pm — Closing Circle

We gather again in circle to seal the night, honour the light returning to the world, and close the container in community.

• Late arrivals cannot be admitted after 7pm (ritual start).

In Celtic tradition, Winter Solstice marks the rebirth of the sun — the spark returning to the world.
