The Experience

Join us for a winter golf experience inside the Gramophone Lodge, featuring expert instruction, thoughtful conversation, and hands-on simulator play. This special event brings together local golf professional Nate Carpenter and nationally renowned golf journalist Kevin Van Valkenburg, Director of Content at Fried Egg Golf, for a morning of learning and insight.

The group workshop and live Q&A take place inside our state-of-the-art golf simulator, where you’ll step into championship-caliber courses, review real-time swing data, and experience the game in a relaxed, refined setting. Following the workshop, guests are invited to continue the experience with complimentary one-on-one simulator sessions with Nate Carpenter, offering personalized instruction and actionable takeaways to bring into the season ahead.

As an added bonus, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy raffles and giveaways throughout the event, including a premium putter, a round of golf for a foursome at Clifton Park, branded polos, and additional golf swag.

Light bites will be served throughout the event along with beverages courtesy of Swallow at the Hollow.

Nate Carpenter

Golf Professional at Clifton Park Golf Course, Nate is known for his approachable teaching style, deep knowledge of the game, and commitment to helping golfers of all skill levels improve with confidence.

Kevin Van Valkenburg

Director of Content at Fried Egg Golf, Kevin is a veteran golf writer with a career spanning ESPN, The Baltimore Sun, and No Laying Up. He brings a national perspective on the game, its courses, culture, and future—and is always game for thoughtful Q&A.
