Learn about proper fruit tree pruning practices from NC Extension Specialized Agent Craig Mauney.

Join us on January 23rd at 1:30 p.m. for a fruit tree pruning workshop led by Matthew Clay Horticulture Agent and Craig Mauney Area Specialized Agent, Commercial Fruit and Vegetable Production. Fruit tree pruning should be done in the winter when the tree is dormant to prevent extra stress on the tree and to limit injury. We will be presenting proper pruning techniques, cuts, and other useful fruit tree pruning information.

When:The workshop will be on Friday January 23rd at 1:30 p.m.


Where:The workshop will be at Tevepaugh Orchards, 800 Vannoy Rd Moravian Falls, NC 28654.

Registration: The workshop is free, but please register. Space is limited.
