Direct service from Metropark Station, Iselin, NJ to UMD

Shuttle-UM provides direct transportation from Metropark Station to College Park for Winter Break.

Important: This bus goes only from Metropark Station. If you need to depart from Javits Center in NYC, please book the separate Javits event.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Payment Information

• Tickets appear FREE on Eventbrite but will be charged to your UMD student account
• Cost: $70 per person (charged after service)
• You will need to provide your UMD Student UID at checkout to complete registration

📍 Route Details

Pickup Location: Metropark Station, 100 Middlesex Essex Turnpike, Iselin, NJ (Bus Lanes 1-5)   Look for Shuttle-UM check-in assistants in yellow vests at the bus slips.

Departure Time: 12:30 PM

Drop-off Location: Metered spaces at The Clarice off of Stadium Drive

Estimated Arrival: Approximately 4:00 PM (may vary due to traffic)

Travel Time: Approximately 3.5-4 hours

🎒 What to Expect

Check-in:

• Arrive at least 15 minutes early (by 12:15 PM)
• Look for our check-in assistants in yellow vests
• Please have your Eventbrite ticket (QR code, digital or printed) with you

Important: Buses depart promptly at 12:30 PM and will not wait. Please plan to arrive early, as buses may need to circle due to station traffic.

Luggage Allowance:

• Limit: Each passenger may bring two (2) large items (e.g., suitcases, duffel bags) to be stored underneath the bus, and one (1) carry-on item (e.g., backpack) to be kept at your seat.
• Keep all valuables (laptops, medication, keys) with you in your carry-on.

On the Bus:

• Comfortable coach seating
• Restroom on board
• Please remain seated while the bus is moving

❄️ Weather Policy

Trips run as long as road conditions are safe. In the event of a weather-related cancellation, our Break Transportation team will reach out to registered passengers via email.

• Register/Cancel: Complete your registration or cancel by Friday, January 23 at 11:59 PM.
• Billing: Ensure you provided your 9-digit UMD Student UID at checkout.
• Check Email: Look for your Eventbrite confirmation.
• Arrive Early: Arrive at The Clarice by 12:15 PM (15 minutes early).

What to Bring: Have these items ready for check-in:

• Your Eventbrite ticket (digital or printed QR code)
• Your UMD Student ID

🔄 Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your ticket through your Eventbrite account until Friday, January 23 at 11:59 PM. After this deadline, tickets become non-refundable.

Changing Your Plans? If you need to cancel your ticket, you can do so through your Eventbrite account until the final ticket sale date. Please note that after this deadline, tickets become non-refundable.
