Shuttle service from UMD to BWI Airport & BWI Rail Station.

Shuttle-UM provides affordable shuttle service to College Park from Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport and the BWI Marshall Rail Station.

How to Register: To book, please select one (1) ticket for your desired departure time from the list below.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Payment Information

• Tickets appear FREE on Eventbrite but will be charged to your UMD student account
• Cost: $15 per person (charged after service)
• You will need to provide your UMD Student UID at checkout to complete registration

📍 Route Details

Pick-Up Locations:

1. BWI Airport: Arrivals/Lower Level Door #18, Location #59 (outer curb)

2. BWI Rail Station: Bus shelter at the station

Note: This is one continuous route. The bus stops at the Airport first, then the Rail Station.

Drop-off Location: Metered spaces at The Clarice off of Stadium Drive

The times listed are the departure times from BWI Airport (Pickup Location 1).

• 12:00 PM Departure from BWI Airport
• 2:00 PM Departure from BWI Airport
• 4:00 PM Departure from BWI Airport
• 6:00 PM Departure from BWI Airport
• 8:00 PM Departure from BWI Airport
• 10:00 PM Departure from BWI Airport
• 12:00 AM (Midnight) Departure from BWI Airport (Last bus of the night)

🚂 ATTENTION BWI RAIL STATION PASSENGERS

The time on your ticket is the BWI Airport departure time.

- The bus will arrive at the BWI Rail Station bus shelter (click location link above) approximately 10-15 minutes after the listed ticket time.

• Example: If you have a 2:00 PM ticket, the bus departs the Airport at 2:00 PM and will arrive at the Rail Station around 2:10-2:15 PM.
• The bus is not trackable, but it will not leave the Airport stop before its scheduled time. Please be at the bus shelter and look for the UMD shuttle.

✈️ Travel Flexibility - No Need to Change Your Ticket

We understand that travel plans can change. You do not need to email us to change your time.

Flexible Boarding: Your ticket (for any time on this date) can be used to board an earlier or later shuttle.

No Need to Worry About Space: This service has ample capacity to accommodate passengers who need to switch times. Just show your original ticket (for any time on thisdate) to the driver.

Final Bus: Please note: The last bus (12:00 AM) will not wait, and no service is available after this time.

🎒 Luggage Allowance

• Limit: Each passenger may bring two (2) large items (e.g., suitcases, duffel bags) to be stored underneath the bus, and one (1) carry-on item (e.g., backpack) to be kept at your seat.
• Keep all valuables (laptops, medication, keys) with you in your carry-on.

❄️ Weather Policy

Trips run as long as road conditions are safe. In the event of a weather-related cancellation, our Break Transportation team will reach out to registered passengers via email.

🎟️ Event Sold Out?

If your preferred time slot is sold out, please book the next available time. You can still use our flexible boarding policy to try for your desired time.

✓ Pre-Departure Checklist

• Register/Cancel: Complete your registration or cancel by Friday, January 23 at 11:59 PM.
• Billing: Ensure you provided your 9-digit UMD Student UID at checkout.
• Check Email: Look for your Eventbrite confirmation.
• Arrive Early: Arrive at The Clarice by 12:15 PM (15 minutes early).

What to Bring: Have these items ready for check-in:

• Your Eventbrite ticket (digital or printed QR code)
• Your UMD Student ID

🔄 Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your ticket through your Eventbrite account until Friday, January 23 at 11:59 PM. After this deadline, tickets become non-refundable.

Changing Your Plans? If you need to cancel your ticket, you can do so through your Eventbrite account until the final ticket sale date. Please note that after this deadline, tickets become non-refundable.
