Winter Block Printing Workshop - Holiday Cards
Overview
On Friday, December 5th at the Benjamin Mays Center, the Museum of Art will be hosting a linocut printmaking workshop from 3:00-5:00PM. The event is free for Bates students and $5 general admission for community members.
Starting at 3:00PM, museum intern Brigid Gaffny '28 on how to create a block print using the available tools and materials. Museum staff will also be on hand to help. While the theme is around holiday cards, participants are not limited to this topic and can create whatever they would like!
Parking will be available for visitors in the diagonal parking spots along Bardwell Street, as well as the lot between the Mays Center and the Bates College Museum of Art. Both are highlighted in the map image below.
