Winged Wonders at Confluence Park!

Discover the beauty, strength, and artistry of birds of prey

Join us at Confluence Park for Winged Wonders, an inspiring afternoon where birds of prey and creativity meet! This special event brings visitors face-to-face with some of nature’s most magnificent raptors while celebrating the art they inspire.

We’re honored to host Last Chance Forever Bird of Prey Conservancy, whose mission is to rehabilitate sick, injured, and orphaned birds of prey, including hawks, falcons, eagles, owls, and vultures. Their engaging presentation will offer a unique opportunity to learn about these remarkable animals, the challenges they face, and the vital conservation efforts to protect them.

Let your creativity take flight! Enjoy hands-on art activities inspired by the birds you’ll meet. Expect a feather print activity, a photo scavenger hunt, and a mini bird walk (binolulars included). Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a young creator, there’s something for everyone.

Stay cozy with hot cocoa and light bites available throughout the event. Bring your picnic blanket, camp chair, as well as your refillable water bottle.
