Alveare's Fall Winemaker's Dinner | October 9th

When Xander and I first met, one of the things that connected us was a love of wine dinners — lingering over food and wine pairings, and the way a table brings people together. That’s the same feeling we want to share here at Alveare.

On Thursday, October 9th, join us at the winery for a six-course, wine-paired dinner around one table. We’ll be pouring special pre-releases, including our Grenache Blanc and Reserve Cabernet, alongside dishes from True Vine Catering, who cook everything from scratch with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

It’s a night to slow down, enjoy thoughtful pairings, and share good company. We’d love to have you at the table.

Butternut Squash Soup

Crème Fraîche • Golden Croutons

Paired with Alveare Grenache Blanc

Notes of honeysuckle and citrus zest mirror the natural sweetness of the squash, while a touch of saline minerality keeps the palate bright and refreshing.

Arugula, Fennel & Apple Salad

Pistachios • Manchego • Apple Cider–Maple Vinaigrette

Paired with Alveare Puddle Jumper (Riesling & Pinot Gris)

A lively, fruit-driven blend that lifts the salad’s sweet, savory, and nutty flavors with balance and finesse.

Roasted Delicata Squash

Herb Yogurt • Parsley-Shallot Dressing • Pomegranate Seeds • Roasted Pepitas

Paired with Alveare Grenache

Juicy red fruit and subtle spice enhance the roasted squash, while soft tannins frame the creaminess of yogurt and the brightness of pomegranate.

Mushroom Risotto

Roasted Mushrooms • Garlic • Parmesan • White Wine & Vegetable Stock

Paired with Alveare Syrah–Viognier

Dark fruit and savory depth echo the earthy mushrooms, while a floral lift from Viognier brightens the parmesan and balances the richness.

Red Wine–Braised Short Ribs
