For most people, their only exposure to Italian sparkling wine is Prosecco and Moscato d’Asti, which are two of their most popular exports in American markets. However, Italy also produces other great sparkling wines like Lambrusco, a tangy sparkling red, and Franciacorta, Italy’s answer to Champagne, as well as producing regional sparkling wines from other native Italian grapes.
