Wine Bottle Candle-Making Class

Join us for a fun night of wine-themed crafting on Thursday, December 18, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. We'll be making 15oz scented candles in recycled wine bottles at Copper Rose Wine in San Antonio, Texas.

You'll learn the art and science of candle making in this fun, interactive candle-making class! Choose from five fragrances (including some festive holiday favorites!) to combine and create your own unique scent: pine, vanilla, cardamom, warm chestnut, and pomegranate.

We'll provide you with a recycled wine bottle as your candle vessel and all of the supplies and equipment needed to make one 15oz candle in your choice of scent to enjoy at home or give as a gift!

Enjoy light snacks and craft cocktails or beer while you craft and chat with other class-goers! (One free glass of wine is provided with each ticket. All additinoal glasses and food will need to be purchased.)

Your ticket includes all supplies and equipment needed to create one 15oz scented candle in a recycled wine bottle and fun, friendly instruction from Courtney, owner and candlemaker of celyse studio. Your ticket also includes one free glass of wine to sip while you craft!

Please note that any wine beyond the first glass will require a purchase. Light bites will also be available for purchase. We appreciate Copper rose opening their venue for this class and encourage everyone to purchase another glass or bite to enjoy.

Candle curing process: To safely transport your candle home, it will need to cure and cool for at least 40 minutes after pouring. We invite you to hang out and enjoy conversation and wine while you wait for your candle to cool. If you prefer not to stick around and wait, you're welcome to return to Copper Rose later the same week to pick up your candle.
