Session01—Windows 10 Deployment State of the Union
The opening session is a real-world Windows 10 deployment recap from the first year in production. You learn about new and updated ways to deploy Windows 10, best practices, gotchas to look out for (and their workarounds), plus much more. You learn about recommendations for upgrading existing devices using the in-place upgrade process, provisioning tools for transforming new devices into ones ready for enterprise use, as well as updates to traditional deployment tools and techniques (ADK, MDT, ConfigMgr, and beyond). You also learn about application compatibility, hardware requirements, and other common deployment questions.

Session 02—Setting Up Your Windows 10 Deployment Infrastructure
In this session, you learn about setting up ConfigMgr Current Branch for Windows 10 Deployment, from scratch to finish. It includes creating the perfect Windows 10 reference image using MDT, setting up a ConfigMgr Current Branch infrastructure, creating and configuring task sequences, and working with drivers, boot images, and all the other OSD components. You learn about enabling dynamic deployments, working with the rules engine and MDT database, as well as adding frontends to ConfigMgr OSD.

Session 03—Customizing Your Windows 10 Images/Deployment
In this session, we dive deep into common customizations that organizations are doing with the Windows 10 image, such as the Start menu, Edge/Internet Explorer, default protocols, removing built-in applications, using AppLocker with Windows 10, and other common tweaks. You learn about using the Windows 10 security baselines, and setting up Device Guard, BitLocker, and Credential Guard configurations. You also learn about hardware configuration for BIOS/UEFI as part of the deployment process.

Session 04—Using Windows 10 as an Enterprise Client
In the final session, we dive in to common enterprise configurations for Windows 10, but don’t let the word “enterprise” fool you. These configurations can, and should, be applied to organizations of any size. You learn about UE-V, roaming profiles (or not), folder redirection, Offline Files, configuring common Windows 10 group policies, and OneDrive for Business and Workfolders. You learn about using configuration items and baselines, scheduled tasks, and startup scripts. Finally, we give you some tips and tricks on how to efficiently troubleshoot both Windows 10 deployments and the Windows 10 client itself.
