This workshop enhances, not replaces, programs like these. Nothing in this workshop conflicts with these frameworks—instead, Dr Q provides practical strategies to help teachers apply them more effectively. You’ll leave with tools that strengthen what you’re already using!

How will this workshop address challenges like behavior and time management?

Accepted Answer

This workshop is 90% focused on Tier 1 classroom management and behavior strategies, helping reduce the need for Tier 2 or 3 interventions. You'll also have opportunities to ask questions and get advice on specific situations or students during the sessions.

Yes, the strategies and tools are designed to benefit teachers of all grades and subjects.

What is included in the registration fee?

Accepted Answer

Participants will receive a workbook, 12-hour CEU certificate, engaging materials, plenty of opportunities to network with others, etc.

What is the refund policy if I can't attend?

Accepted Answer

If you registered online, refunds will be processed through Eventbrite. Offline registrations will be refunded through Dr. Q’s accounting system. All refunds are issued after the event concludes. You may also transfer your ticket to another educator if you can’t attend.

What should I bring to the workshop?

Be willing to engage in the activities, exchange ideas with others, and be open to explore new possibilities!  All other relevant materials will be provided. There is free Wi-Fi in the building, so feel free to bring technology, but this is not required.

Will there be any follow up support after the workshop?

Accepted Answer

Dr Q is always willing to help educators via email, texts, and phone calls. Dr Q also works with students, teachers, and administrators on campuses throughout Texas. Let him know if you need this level of support to make arrangements for him to visit your campus soon.

No, parking is free at the hotel.

What should I wear to the workshop?

This is a casual environment, so dress comfortably. We move around a lot in these workshops, so comfortable footwear is recommended. Consider your personal comfort and how you typically feel in workshop settings, whether too warm or too cool.

Although lunch is on your own, there are numerous options near the hotel, Longview Mall, and along the loop or Eastman Rd.

Yes, Dr Q Consulting is a member of Region 7 ESC's approved vendor list and has completed the RFP process with many districts throughout Texas. He has also presented workshops at Region 1, Region 3, Region 4, Region 8, and Region 14.

What if I can only attend one day?

The workshop is designed as a 2-day experience, and attending both days is highly recommended to gain the full benefit. Certainly, attending one day is better than not attending at all.
