Willow Peg Workshop

By The Conservation Volunteers Tree Nursery

Overview

Our Tree Nursery propagates native Willow every year, one of the only native tree we do not grow from seed.

This is a free event and will give you the opportunity to try environmental volunteering. You'll get to meet like minded people who share the same goals and aspirations to tackle climate change and help to reforest Northern Ireland with our native trees. We propagate native Willow every year, the only native tree we do not grow from seed. Willow pegs are propagated within the Nursery, grown for a season and transplanted as one-year old whips to community, school and environmental projects alike.

Meeting point: Next to the ticket kiosk in the Ulster Folk Museum carpark.

Please dress for the weather and don't forget to pack your raincoat, sunhat and a water bottle! Walking boots or wellies are advisable.

Please email tcv-treenursery@tcv.org.uk for any queries.
