Step into the world of advanced survival and put your skills to the test! Learn scene safety and PAS, treat burns and splint injuries, and master traditional friction fire-starting.
Build rope ladders, cook with a solar stove, and forage for river food like crayfish and cattails. Navigate using declination and whole-property mapping, and send distress signals with smoke.
This program will be run by CEC educator Dominic Carstens and all activities will be done in a safe manner.
This program is ONLY for those who have completed our Wilderness Survival Levels 2 and 3 during any year. Each level builds upon what was covered previously, so we do not allow kids to skip levels. There are opportunities within each level for kids with more experience to take what they are learning further and tackle bigger challenges.
**Important Notes:
All participants should bring a reusable water bottle and lunch.
Early Bird pricing available through March 31st. All sales end at 3pm the day before the program date. Refunds not available within two weeks of the program date.
