Overview

Meet Wild Oyster Project every first sunday of the month and help us with various projects, like oyster shell recycling!

About:

Join us the first Sunday of every month from 10am-1pm at the REAP Climate Center in Alameda and learn about the power of oysters!

On Sun, 12/7: We will be bagging about 150, 15lb bags of shell at REAP Climate Center and then moving these bags over to the California Historical Radio Society (2152 Central Ave, Alameda, CA 94501) for longer-term storage. We welcome you to join us at both locations! We will be starting on REAP.

These shells will play a key role in rebuilding oyster reefs and supporting a healthy Bay ecosystem!

Before you come:

Be sure to wear SPF and dress casually in clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Work gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Sea you there!🦪
