About this event

Health • Medical

In this workshop you will learn how to identify different wild edible and medicinal mushrooms that grow in the fall. We will start with a short qigong class taught by Erik outside Shadle Farm’s hemple. Then we will go down the street to a local park to identify wild plants and mushrooms of autumn. We will come back to the farm to talk about what we found and have refreshments provided by Ami and Mark from G-Monkey. Learn what mother earth has to offer for food, medicine, and more...

Experience the magical energy of the hemple at shadle farm that was built in a octagon shape with hemp crete that literally has crystals infused inside the walls to amplify healing energy.

Fall is the best time to forage for mushrooms and we may find some plants that are abundant this time of year like autumn olive.
