About this event
Join the Citizens Environmental Coalition (CEC) for a virtual Houston screening of the Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Tour.
A selection of films from the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, North America’s largest environmental film festival, will bring two hours of beautiful, educational, and inspiring films to the comfort and safety of your own home. Preview the lineup on cechouston.org.
It is our hope that the festival will increase community understanding of the connection we share with the planet and our roles as stewards of our natural heritage. Three local films will be shown, by Native Prairies Association of Texas, the City of Pearland's Delores Fenwick Nature Center, and SETSVN.
Proceeds from the event will be used to support CEC programs.
We've lined up unique experiences and a piece of art for this year's silent auction which is OPEN FOR BIDS using this Google Form.
Join Pat Greer's Kitchen for dinner and support a local green business: Order a meal for four, which includes dishes you can mix and match. Pick up is only on January 28 from 1 - 5 p.m. at 412 West Clay Street, 77019. Yummy Menu: Pesto Party Geez with YaYa's Tomato Basil Krackers, Veggie Soup with cornbread, Salad Greens, Roasted Veggies, Black Bean Veggie Tamales, Strawberry Geezcake and DIY Popcorn with Nacho Seasoning
